Your photos stay as local as possible
PixPort is designed around local photo processing whenever possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be handled when you use the app and how it is used.
1. Information We May Process
Depending on how you use PixPort, the app may process the following categories of information:
- Photos and files you choose: used to perform actions such as converting, compressing, resizing, creating PDFs, removing metadata, extracting text, or removing backgrounds.
- Purchase and subscription status: used to unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and determine feature availability.
- Basic diagnostic information: such as app version, device model, iOS version, and crash-related information, if needed to improve stability and troubleshoot issues.
2. How We Use Information
- To complete photo processing tasks that you explicitly start
- To provide presets, batch tools, and export features
- To verify Pro access and restore purchases
- To improve app reliability, performance, and bug fixing
- To respond to support requests sent to vikalp_labs@yeah.net
3. Local Processing
PixPort is built to rely on local processing as much as possible. In general, the photos and files you choose are handled on your device to complete the requested task.
If a future feature requires external or online processing, that should be clearly disclosed in the app experience and reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy.
4. Permissions
| Photos | Used to access images you choose and to save processed results back to your photo library. |
|---|---|
| Files | Used when importing supported files or exporting results to the Files app. |
| Camera | If enabled in the future, may be used to capture a photo directly inside the app. |
5. Purchases and App Store Services
PixPort may rely on Apple services for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and purchase restoration. Those transactions are processed by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
6. Data Storage and Security
PixPort may store certain settings, presets, and recent task data on your device to improve usability. We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app, but no method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Sharing
PixPort does not sell your personal data. Information is only shared when necessary to provide app functionality, comply with legal obligations, or work with platform-level services such as Apple’s purchase infrastructure.
8. Your Choices
- You can manage photo and file permissions through iOS Settings.
- You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
- You can contact us if you have privacy-related questions.
9. Children’s Privacy
PixPort is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe inappropriate data handling has occurred, please contact us.
