Tutor Track (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy and the protection of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information related to your use of the App. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Process

The App is primarily used for scheduling lessons, recording lesson activity, tracking income, and managing payments. Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following types of information:

• Information you voluntarily enter, such as learner names, lesson times, locations, prices, notes, and similar lesson-related data;
• Contact information you voluntarily enter, such as parent names and phone numbers;
• Payment and accounting information you voluntarily enter, such as payment amount, date, and notes;

• If you enable iCloud syncing, some of your App data may be synchronized across your devices through Apple’s iCloud services.

2. How We Use Information

We use the above information for the following purposes:

• To provide lesson scheduling, recording, viewing, and editing features;
• To help you confirm lesson status and generate related summaries;
• To generate receivable, received, and outstanding payment information;
• To provide local reminder notifications;

3. How Information Is Stored

3.1 Local-First Storage

The App uses a local-first approach. Most business data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device first.

3.2 iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device and you allow the App to use related sync capabilities, some data may be synchronized across devices using the same Apple ID through Apple’s iCloud services. This sync capability depends on your Apple account status, network conditions, and system settings.

3.3 No In-App Account System

The current version of the App does not provide in-app account registration or login.

4. Permissions We Do Not Request by Default

Except where necessary for core features such as reminders and notifications, the current version of the App does not request permissions unrelated to its core functions by default. Use of the App does not depend on access to the following:

• Contacts;
• Photos;
• Microphone;
• Camera;
• Precise location;
• Identity documents;
• Biometric information such as Face ID or fingerprint data.

If future versions introduce new permissions or new data processing activities, we will provide additional notice in the App or related update materials.

5. Notification Permission

To provide features such as pre-class reminders, post-class confirmation reminders, and nightly unconfirmed-session reminders, the App may request permission to send notifications. You may enable, disable, or adjust notification permissions in your device settings. Disabling notifications will not prevent you from using the App’s basic recording functions, but it may affect your reminder experience.

6. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

Except in the following situations, we do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information to third parties:

• Where you have given explicit consent;
• Where required by applicable law or regulation;
• Where data is processed as part of Apple’s system mechanisms for features such as iCloud sync;
• Where necessary to protect your lawful rights, our lawful rights, or the lawful rights of the public.

7. Your Rights

You may view, modify, and delete the data you enter into the App through the features provided within the App. You may also manage your data and permissions by uninstalling the App, disabling notifications, or turning off iCloud sync for the App in your system settings.
